Hand-harvested grapes from a 33-year-old vineyard, at full phenological maturity, without elements of late harvest. Macerated for 6 days at a temperature of 20°C (68°F), then pressed and complete fermentation in 1000L wooden barrels (Slavonic oak) with malolactic fermentation. At the end of fermentation, the wine was on the lees without the addition of sulfur until the spring of 2021 with gentle stirring. In the spring of 2021, 30% of the wine went into barrique barrels for 6 months, after which it was bottled. It spent almost 2 years in the bottle before going on the market. The wine is elegant, rounded, lively with pronounced notes of stone and candied fruit. This Graševina is intended for enjoyment with smoked fish, aged cheeses and nuts.

The old cellar dating back to 1804, is characterised by unique, traditional charm and exceptional care for premium red wines. The new basement opened in 2020 symbolizes the synergy of tradition and modernity with barrels made of oak trees surrounding the vineyards. New development direction is based on a long tradition, continuous investments and boutique production focused on quality. Handpicked grapes and modern processing makes Enosophia, at the same time traditional and modern winery based on principles of sustainability and social responsibility.

Fresh, harmonious and citrus-flavored aromas with hints of green apples and a powerful minerality, long aftertaste that opens the notes of chamomile are charachteristic to this wine. We recommend serving at 10-12 °C with top quality sea fish, smoked meat, roasted chicken or turkey meat.

Our vineyards are located in the Kutjevo winegrowing region on the southern slopes of Krndija at 45.3° North. The elevation of the vineyards relative to the sea level ranges from 200 and 450 meters. As annual precipitation ranges between 500 and 800 mm of rainfall per square meter – the climate, terroir and weather conditions provide an excellent environment for winegrowing. Large forest circuits of Krndija and Geopark Papuk protect vineyards from sharp northern winds. The grapes for de Gotho Graševina are picked on a micro-location – Hrnjevac that reaches the southern exposure and the altitude up to 400 m. The type of soil is sandy sedimentary rocks, some clay, and carbonate loess. After harvesting grape press, molt flotation, the addition of selected yeasts and fermentation with temperature control to preserve the aromas.

Stina Vugava is a very crisp and fresh wine with a lingering aftertaste of grapefruits and subtle aromas of honey and citruses. Stina is the only commercial producer of this variety on the island and they are steadily expanding their vineyards in order to bring this Viognier-like variety back into consumption. We may expect rich notes of apricot, ripe apple, citruses and biting acidity which will create the provisions for a serious and powerful white.

Made from grapes grown in vineyards within the Dalmatian island of Vis. Vugava is an indigenous grape variety with great potential. With the use of modern methods of Viticulture and Enology we are just beginning to discover its potential and what it has to offer. This wine has a fine discrete aroma, characteristic freshness and a balance that is even more evident with aging. The grapes come from old vineyards in the interior of the island Vis. Everything in the vineyards is carried out manually, and the harvest is performed in the early morning in order to preserve freshness and flavor of grapes. It is considered a native variety from Vis Island, although there are some ideas connecting it to Brač. Vugava from Brač is pretty different from her Vis ‘counterparts’.

Testament vineyards are in the wine-growing region of Northern Dalmatia, in the immediate vicinity of the medieval town, Šibenik. With the unique climate and the specificity of the soil. In Šibenik area grapes have constantly struggled to grow and thrive. This centuries-old ritual of survival is felt and seen in Testament wines’ intense and deep colors, and in their intense flavors and aromas. Testament unique wines come from the Pošip and Babić grape. Both varieties are indigenous, and Babić grapes only grow on this part of the Dalmatian coast, where Testament vineyards are located. Testament wines are created in an organic production process with the benefits of the region’s special microclimate and soil, giving them a particularly rich and complex taste.

A harmonious wine that leaves a taste of honey in the mouth! The ideal amount of freshness and structure with good bottle resting potential. A golden-yellow colour with a golden sheen. A very complex aroma characteristic for Vugava, fruity aromas of stone fruits such as peach and ripe apricot, flow into a slightly smokey herbal note of Mediterranean plants and thyme. It has a medium strength, well-rounded body with a balanced alcohol content that follows the structure of the wine with a soft and elegant freshness which is the result of the carefully selected time of harvest, and retains the fresher tone of the variety. Wine for life! How are we different? Our wine tells the original story of the difficult times on the island of Vis and the monetary value of Plavac wine exchanged by the islanders for food. An equal respect for history and terroir is what makes us different. The story of Vislander is a story about islanders – the people of Vis and Britain. While the Second World War was raging in the Adriatic, Vis was hiding a secret British air base. In the isolation the people of Vis lacked food, while the British pined for the pleasures of peacetime. That is why grandma Frona and grandfather Jure made an additional alliance with the British. They traded wine for food, a dry military meal for the Plavac. The perfect sandfield terrain and sustained labor made this alliance victorious.
