En Primeur 2018, tasting of young Graševina, Pošip and other grape varieties

En Primeur 2018, a tasting of young Graševina, Pošip and other grape varieties will be held on Wednesday, January 31 in organization by the Wine Associations at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and associations Graševina Croatica, Vina Dalmacije and Hortus Croatiae.

Climate conditions in 2017 caused the earlier ripening of the grapes and shifted the harvest up to two weeks before the usual term of regular harvesting. En Primeur is a unique event of tasting young wines of the last harvest and red wines of the previous vintages, that are not yet offered on the market. These are the first wine tasting sessions, organized so that the professional public and wine lovers can discover the potential of wine that is yet to be offered. Winemakers have already begun to enter the market with some of the young wines and it is the right time to present to the public.
