Bovin Winery is the first privately build winery in Macedonia. Bovin owns 60 hectares of prime vineyards in Tikvesh wine district. The Tikvesh district has approximately 11,000 ha of grapes, which represents about one third of the total vineyard area of Macedonia. It is the driest area of Balkan Peninsula. The maximum daily temperature during July and August is regularly around 40ºC. With a deep plowing layer, the rich soils supply the grapes with a constant supply of water.

The BOVIN Pinot Noir is fascinating dry red wine with a tantalizing aroma and an intense red color. The nose is reminiscent of red berries, strawberry, violets and a touch of earth. The taste is dry, soft and fruity, rich with soft tannins. Served at room temperature with lamb, veal, game and grilled meat this wine comes to life. BOVIN Pinot Noir goes beautifully with lighter cheeses 15-17ºC.
