Cantina del Barone Particella 928 Fiano 2020

Particella 928
- +
$33.99

Cantina del Barone was born in Cesinali, a small agricultural center in the province of Avellino, where, for over a century, the Sarno family has been dedicated to taking care of their land. In the mid-nineties Antonio Sarno bought the company that was owned by a baron residing in Naples, continuing as owner the hard work of symbiosis with the land and the exceptional microclimate of these places. Here, from volcanic soils rich in minerals and with an adequate skeleton content, with a southern exposure that gives the soils perfect sunshine, in combination with the influence of Monte Terminio and Monte Partenio, Fiano finds its ideal habitat.

In 2001, part of the Fiano vineyard, parcel 928, was replanted with a new planting layout and with a different orientation of the rows. The 2800 vines thus receive the sun’s rays evenly over the entire foliage, giving the bunches better ripening. In 2009 the grapes are vinified separately for the first time. Fermentation without the addition of selected yeasts and permanence on the lees for about seven months. Finally, four months of aging in the bottle to give life to Fiano di Avellino “Particella 928”.
