It is a concept of Underwater Wine cellar on island Pag by Marko Dušević. This project is a cooperative between the Adriatic Shell company and winemakers from all over Europe. Every bottle under the sea is exposed to a great amount of energy that flows under the water. Sea currents and underwater wellsprings give their unique signature to the flavors and aromas of the wine.
This Rose from Kabaji winery was aged for 12 months under the sea and it got an exciting twist in flavor and aromas. Copper colored and full-bodied wine with prevalent aromas of overripe fruit. Its aroma has grown from youthful fruitiness into a deeper maturity that breathes smoky notes. The bouquet is very mature, well developed and layered with a sensory influence of the sea. An excellent choice for those appreciating maturity in wines.
