Galić Sauvignon 2022

galic-sauvignon
- +
$19.99

Green hills of Požega valley were formed a long time ago with the sliding of massive glaciers from the surrounding hills. A pleasant altitude of 200-330 m above the sea level, mainly southern exposure. And the characteristics of continental climate, with a gradual transition from summer to autumn. With higher average autumn temperature than the temperature in spring makes it ideal for growing grapes. The Galić family has dealt with grape growing and wine production for generations but mainly for their personal use.

  • Celery
  • Cut green grass
  • Green bell pepper
  • Nettle

Initially predominantly herbal on the nose, hinting freshness of green peppers and freshly cut meadow, followed by enticing gooseberry aromas. Supported by the nearly salty mineral-inflected finish, playing through as an overhanging fragrance. Initially, the palate is pleasurably zesty, and acidity yields freshness and attractiveness. Soon complemented by full-bodied mouth-filling flavors. Followed through by soft warmth as this rounded-structured wine becomes rich, mineral-inflected, delightful, compelling and ultimately refreshing nectar.

  • Asparagus
  • Tacos
  • Vegetables
  • White fish
