Pinot Blanc perhaps is rarely exciting but often is very useful, especially when grown in Baranja area. The climate conditions ensured the full phenolic ripeness of the grapes and the result is a golden-colored wine with a fuller body but balanced despite alcohol content. Ripe peach and apricot fruit profile dominate the palate followed by quince and ripe apple. Maybe not what can be expected from Pinot Blanc but definitely what you should expect from Baranja and Danube region.
