This vibrant, fresh white wine from the Lacman Family Winery is crafted from indigenous Dalmatian grape varieties: Maraština, Pošip, and Bogdanuša, the latter being exclusive to Hvar. The nose is clean and fresh, of moderate intensity, with notes of citrus fruits, especially grapefruit, mingled with stone fruits, primarily apricot, and a subtle herbal undertone of sage and even rosemary. On the palate, the wine displays medium acidity, offering refreshment, yet with a medium to full body. This wine is complex and oily, elevating it beyond the typical summery aperitif wine. Avoid serving it super cold to prevent masking its aromatic complexity. It pairs wonderfully with aromatic seafood dishes such as octopus salad, and a savory white brodetto. For meat lovers try it with veal saltimbocca.
