It started as a passion for wine and a belief that Croatia has grapes capable of producing stunning wines. Through months of discussions around equipment, grape selection, winemaking processes, and what direction to go with the wines, it was decided that Markus Wines would become the focus of a team approach to maintaining the history of centuries of growing grapes in Croatian while relentlessly pursuing excellence in winemaking. For this to happen, everything starts with the soil and a healthy, sustainable natural environment.

Following short cold maceration it has been fermented and carefully aged in stainless steel tanks to maintain the natural subtle fruitiness. Aromas of pineapple and mango lead a gentle acidity creating a long, exciting finish.
