“Vinaria”, what they call Saints Hills winery, is an old stone house in a little village of Oskorušno. This house actually used to be a winery, but its owners went on a quest for a better life over the ocean, leaving their winery to sleep for 80 years. In Saint’s hills, they believe that it was waiting for them to breathe in a new life in her, so they decided to leave the old stones untouched. The modern part of the story is, however, for the guest yet to discover. The “Treasury” room is maybe the best way to meet Saints hills wine. That is where they keep all their vintages produced. You can see the development over the years and in different vineyards. And take your time. This room will take you to wine-wonderland. Chardonnay for Le Chiffre comes from Tolj’s vineyard Sv. Ante in western Istria, where grapes are grown for Mala Nevina and Frenchie.
