Plavac Mali variety describes the colors and flavors of the island Brač the best. Saša Senjković left his Hajduk football career to revive Brač’s winemaking traditions together with his wife, Magdalena. Spoža was an instant hit, enchanting the winelovers as a rose wine made from often difficult Plavac mali grapes.

Plavac mali tends to be very tannic and to ensure softer tannin, it needs to be picked fully ripe, but then a higher alcohol seems inevitable. Spoža was one of the first succesful modern rose wines made from Plavac mali grape. Spoža is medium full bodied and crispy refreshing rose full of red fruit with spicy and mineral undertones.
