Trapan Istraditional 2018

Love, energy, and courage are the main drivers of the winery Trapan. Since 2005 to this day with hard work and perseverance, he has created 12 hectares of ecologically clean vineyards. “The learned knowledge and experience we transfer into the winery creating fine and elegant wines of a specific character, recognizable, with a special Mediterranean touch. Wine production is primarily a family business and requires a lot of attention and mutual understanding.  On the micro-location of Cuf between Šišana and Valtura, on shallow red earth full of minerals and bauxites. After harvest in mid-September, the wine was macerated for nine days, then left for 12 months in used barrique barrels. Then it spent four to six months in the bottle before getting on the market. The wine is unfiltered, and it is blurry in the glass, and it is adorned with a beautiful golden-yellow color.

The notes of dried ferns, quince roasted in a wood spit, a little dry pea, then dry mildew is added to the note of caramel mixed with dried apricot and a hint of honey. The wine is dry, warm and soft, and on the other hand, it has a robust freshness. Tannins are present, and they have an excellent minerality and full body. The wine is balanced, and the intensity is pronounced, and the taste is very long lasting.
