Our vineyards are located in the Kutjevo winegrowing region on the southern slopes of Krndija at 45.3° North. The elevation of the vineyards relative to the sea level ranges from 200 and 450 meters. As annual precipitation ranges between 500 and 800 mm of rainfall per square meter – the climate, terroir, and weather conditions provide an excellent environment for winegrowing. Large forest circuits of Krndija and Geopark Papuk protect vineyards from sharp northern winds. The grapes for de Gotho Graševina are picked on a micro-location – Hrnjevac that reaches the southern exposure and the altitude up to 400 m. The type of soil is sandy sedimentary rocks, some clay, and carbonate loess. After harvesting grape press, molt flotation, the addition of selected yeasts and fermentation with temperature control to preserve the aromas.
Premium dry Cuvee Maximo is a blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and syrah. It is characterized by its dark, red-purple color, the richness of scent, its roundness and elegance. Tannins are silky, and wine is rich in fruit with accompanied barrique components. Recommended serving at 18-20 °C with dark meat, game meat, bluefish, and aged and aromatic cheese.
