Wine&more has contracts with leading logistics partners: DPD (EU) / UPS (US) / DHL (UK, CH, NO). Once the order is created on the website, the delivery flow goes as follows:
EU: Wines get shipped out in 3 working days from the day of the order is created. From the moment the wines get shipped out, it takes 2-10 working days for the wine to reach your premises, depending on the country of destination. To have some feeling of the expected delivery time here are some examples:
- Austria: within 3 days
- Germany: 3-7 days
- France, Spain: 3-7 days
- UK: 4-10 days
- Croatia: next day
United Kingdom: All export- and shipment-related post-Brexit issues are resolved.
- Post-Brexit UK shipments are delivered by DHL delivery service – all of the prices include all UK excise duty and UK VAT! There are no additional charges for customers. There is a minimum order (40 £).
Non-EU: Shipments are delivered by DHL delivery service – all prices include excise duty and VAT! There are no additional charges for customers.
US: Wines get shipped out 10 working days from the day the order is created. From the moment the wines get shipped out, it takes 1-10 working days for the wine to reach your premises, depending on the state of destination. To have some feeling of the expected delivery time here are some examples:
- Northern California: 7 day
- Southern California: 7-10 days
- Colorado: 7 days
- Chicago: 7 days
- Florida: 7-10 days
- East Coast in general (Carolinas, NY, New England, etc.): 7-10 days depended on the traffic environment.
For all shipping areas (EU, US and non-EU), you will receive an email on the day the wines get shipped out, with the tracking link of the package so you can always see the status of your package anytime.
Shipping Terms and Conditions US
We use a combination of UPS and FedEx to deliver all packages. Shipping carrier does not ship to P.O. Boxes, but do ship to all residential and business addresses.
Legal age requirement any shipment of alcohol must be signed for by an adult that is 21 years or older. No exceptions. Alcohol shipments are sent with an “Adult Signature Required” stipulation, and the common carrier used for delivery is required to ask for and verify ID before delivering merchandise.
Adult signature required upon delivery all purchases must be made by individuals age 21 and older. Delivery carrier will require proof of age, and a signature is required for all deliveries. Only persons age 21 and older can accept delivery.
FedEx and UPS will not deliver to an intoxicated person. Please drink responsibly. If no one over the age of 21 is available to sign for the package, it will not be left. Therefore we recommend you ship to a work or business address. We cannot ship to PO Boxes, FPO or APO addresses.
Interstate shipping all merchandise from Wine&more is sold in Croatia and title passes to buyer in Croatia. By placing your order, you authorize Wine&more and its affiliate, Fontana Global Solutions L.L.C. DBA Fontana Global Imports to engage a common carrier on your behalf to deliver the merchandise to your specified address. We make no representation as to the legal right of anyone to ship or import wines into any state or country outside of California. When selecting to ship to another state, you assume all responsibility for determining whether you may lawfully import alcoholic beverages into that state. As interstate shipping laws are continually changing, please check with an appropriate agency before placing your order.
Please note that interstate shipments may incur additional taxes from the final destination location. These additional fees are the responsibility of the customer.
We have a 14 day return policy on items purchased in error must be factory sealed and in original condition. The purchaser of all alcoholic beverages is representing that he/she is acting in compliance with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase.
Shipping Costs
You are responsible for the shipping costs associated with the delivery of the products you purchase on the website as specified on your order confirmation. Shipping costs are calculated automatically in the cart. For larger orders or wholesale shipping information, please contact us.
If you’d like to change your shipping address, just log into your account and go to the Account Settings to update and save your information, but you can also choose different shipping addresses at the checkout of every order. If you would like to leave us any kind of comment regarding the delivery of your package, you can do it in the comments section of the order within the checkout process, or you can do it through our contact form. If you would like to change your shipping address or add any comment once the order had already been done, feel free to reach us through the contact form, and do not worry, we will read your message within minutes and are on fast response time.
We highly recommend that you use a business address whenever possible as someone 21 or older must be available to sign for the delivery, and shipping is usually done within working hours.
Packaging
We use Perbacco® wine box, professional packaging for shipping and transporting bottles, that provides protection from impact and temperature changes. These boxes are specially designed and made from one piece to protect the bottles during transport and minimize the possibility of breakage as well as to preserve the wine temperature in extreme conditions which may happen during summer and winter. It is made of high-density EPS so it provides exceptional impact resistance, light weight and thermal resistance. Unique to the Perbacco® wine box solution is that it does not require any additional packaging material aside from adhesive tape or heat-sealed strapping for closure. We send out orders in 6 differently-sized boxes (holding 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 12 bottles total). Boxes are 100% recyclable.
Unfavorable Weather
Shipping during periods of extreme heat or cold can damage wine. We hold the right to hold the shipment if the weather conditions are unfavorable. Your wines will be shipped by us in perfect condition and any damage due to weather is not covered by shippers insurance, or guaranteed by us.
