Winery Rak focuses on the production of grapes and wine in Dubrava, near Šibenik, under a specific climate in the Dalmatian area, they take their pride in the cultivation and production of three autochthonous wine varieties: Babić, Maraština, Debit and from Babić grapes they also produce Opolo and rose. Viticulture and viniculture are a long family tradition, which started in 1960, and we maintain the tradition today. Honoring the tradition, as their inherited love for viniculture, they use modern technology and equipment, keeping up with modern standards in the fields of grapevine cultivation and quality wine production. Maraština is an autochthonous Dalmatian variety. It is highly valued in the Šibenik area, and especially in the area of Dubrava – hill Trtar, where the best wines once came from, as evidenced by numerous recognitions and awards. Maraština Rak is a white dry wine with a greenish-golden color, it is characterized by a recognizable aroma, moderate alcohol, harmonious body, and the wine is aged for 6 months in oak barrels.
