Young and talented natural winemaker, Ivan Kosovec is working on a revival of Škrlet, an indigenous variety from the region of Moslavina. Driven by his passion on hands off winemaking Kosovec made this once ordinary, practically table grape into something extraordinary, not only reviving the planting of more vines but also the elevation of taste of days past. His take on red varieties is equally exceptional. Growing the Frankovka (Blaufrankisch), Zweigelt and Pinot Noir proved to be a right choice.
Pronounced fruit impact, red apple and chokeberry, not overconcentrated, tiny tannin, like a herbal tea… only vinous and refreshing for a juicy sip full of flavor developed out of native yeasts.
