Kutjevo Archive Graševina Selection Vintage 1999

Wine has been produced in Kutjevo since the 13th century. Vineyards are located in the Kutjevo winegrowing region on the southern slopes of Krndija. The vineyards’ elevation relative to the sea level ranges from 200 to 450 meters. As annual precipitation ranges between 500 and 800 mm of rainfall per square meter – the climate, terroir and weather conditions provide an excellent environment for wine growing.

Kutjevo holds one of the largest wine archives in Croatia. There is a saying that we start appreciating the moment only when it becomes a memory. With the Kutjevo archive, you can surely find one to become your unforgettable moment.

The wine is clear, yellow in color, with a predominantly refined, pure botrytis aroma. The aromatic profile reveals candied fruit, such as citrus peel. The taste is dominated by a rich and creamy body, long honey- bearing aftertaste. Serve at the end of a meal, for dessert, either as a companion to mature hard cheese, or with a cake, or just for meditative pleasure.
