Babić is an indigenous grape variety of Dalmatia, primarily cultivated in the rocky karst soil of the Šibenik and Primošten coastal regions. Elegant Babić Luša is grown in a small site located on top of a hill just 425 meters away from entrance to Morinje Bay (Šibenik area). With an average elevation of around 65 meters, this intimate plot spans just 0.65 hectares, mostly planted with Babić and a bit of Plavac Mali. The terroir of this site is truly unique, with a perfect balance of sun, karst soil, and sea air, which provides ideal conditions for growing healthy grapes. Baraka Babić grapes are fermented in wooden fermenters and aged in 225L and 500L French oak barrels.
