Kutjevo Rose Premium 2021

Our vineyards are located in Kutjevo winegrowing region on the southern slopes of Krndija at 45.3° North. Elevation of the vineyards relative to the sea level ranges from 200 and 450 metres. As annual precipitation ranges between 500 and 800 mm of rainfall per square meter – the climate, terroir and weather conditions provide excellent environment for winegrowing. Large forest circuits of Krndija and Geopark Papuk protect vineyards from sharp northern winds. The grapes for de Gotho Graševina are picked on a micro-location – Hrnjevac that reaches the southern exposure and the altitude up to 400 m. The type of soil is sandy sedimentary rocks, some clay and carbonate loess. After harvesting grape press, moult flotation, addition of selected yeasts and fermentation with temperature control to preserve the aromas.

Rosé has a delicate and seductive color, the scent of rose and the light fruity aroma of strawberry, a refreshing, well-composed acid. The rich and persistent taste reveals the character of the Pinot Noir and Zweigelt varieties. We recommend serving at 8-10 ° C with fruit salads, fish, risotto or duck, and veal meat specialties.
