Our vineyards are located in the Kutjevo winegrowing region on the southern slopes of Krndija at 45.3° North. The elevation of the vineyards relative to the sea level ranges from 200 and 450 meters. As annual precipitation ranges between 500 and 800 mm of rainfall per square meter – the climate, terroir and weather conditions provide an excellent environment for winegrowing. Large forest circuits of Krndija and Geopark Papuk protect vineyards from sharp northern winds. The grapes for de Gotho Graševina are picked on a micro-location – Hrnjevac that reaches the southern exposure and the altitude up to 400 m. The type of soil is sandy sedimentary rocks, some clay, and carbonate loess. After harvesting grape press, molt flotation, the addition of selected yeasts and fermentation with temperature control to preserve the aromas.

High quality Gewürztraminer with accentuated aromatic varietal characteristics, strong and distinctive character. Thanks to the extremely favorable microclimate, Kutjevo Gewürztraminer opens a delicate secondary bouquet of pronounced floral and fruity notes. We recommend serving it at 10-12° C, as an excellent aperitif wine, and its benefits come to full expression with sweet desserts and foie gras.
