Once upon a time, every household in Herzegovina had their own vineyard planted with Žilavka, Blatina, and other autochthonous varieties. The rulers and masters changed, wars happened and the state borders changed, but the wine, remained, and it is a part of the Herzegovinian past, present, and future. This is how the story of Škegro family begins. A story where tradition has been passed from knee to knee to eventually become something that the whole family enjoys doing. Modern approach to traditional, love for vineyards and wine, and a strong desire to offer the spirit of Hercegovina in full glory.
